Sonar 2.2 and Sonar 1.x difference

Hi guys, just a quick question........... is it possible to open a Sonar 2.2xl cakewalk bundle file in Sonar 1.x versions???? I know that the other way around will work......, I have a friend who is working in Sonar 1.x and I have 2.2XL can I send him a bundle file?
 
I think so, but you may have to specify saving the project as a Sonar 1.x bundle file in the save menu. I'd send him a small test file, just to be sure.
 
I've sent him a one sec sample file, lets see if it works out.
 
It worked, great! Looks like all Sonar files after 1.3 are compatible with the new files. Only Home Studio can't open the Sonar files.
 
That's good information. However, you might still run into problems if you happen to use some feature from Sonar 2.0 that doesn't exist in 1.3

Offhand, though, I can't think of much.

Let us know if you experience any problems as you get further into this. Good to know this stuff, as I'm sure someone else will ask it down the road.
