ok cool!

pappapill finally got everything working

www.studiozpro.com is up and check out the " listen to demo mixes " near the bottom, some cool stuff

Listened to "end of the world." Very nice song. Catch tune. Nice feel to it. I really liked it. I love the way the bass comes through. Good sound.

The vocals I think are too far back. Tough to hear. Just a bit too much reverb on them for my taste. Harmonies? This song calls out for them. The chorus could be so much better. No wait... I can hear them now. They way too low. Bring them up. I would also create harmony part that follows the melody line rather than the "call/response" pattern.

All in all, very good song. Trip....

I listened to "end of the world"...I love the song.

I didn't think the recording sounded remarkably "pro" - but, it does sound very good. but it doesn't have the "sizzle" that some other band in this genre would possess.

mostly I like the song and performance...the bands new stuff doesn't sound as good as this though.

they must have gotten a worse engineer.

in the mid 90's when this was done, people werent as treble deaf, and the volume wars werent in full effect as they are now

the newer stuff wasnt done by me

the ATN stuff would be more modern sounding

i don't have a problem with the volume...but, I don't really consider the current trends "treble deaf".

i agree that there are some harsh modern recordings...

but, I think compared to any early 90s pop/rock this still lacks some treble, if you will.

got any more pics of the Z sounds studio? looks cool...man, you guys have a lot of engineer/producers too..

...just dont follow his idea of co-opting someone else's idea and then JUMP ship to a different BBS since they pay you more

Im free as the wind. Besides, I already frequent several other BBS' , thats how I learn different ideas from the vast knowledge base on them. Im pretty sure nobody want to pay me for what I know, though a beating might be in order.

SoMm

P.S.
I haven't been to your site since it crashed my machine. My media player got corrupted(some pop-up self installed virus) and your site just happened to be the straw that did you know what. Ill get back into it asap.

very dominant and thick thru-out. Got a good bass/drum eq. the high end seems a bit shaved and that seems to mud the mids a bit. But you got a nice signal chain there dude. Im not particularly into that type of music but the cuttin is good.
