Some help about a Nagra lV SJ mint condition...

Hello everybody, I have a Nagra lV SJ like new, mint condition and I'll like to sell it. This beauty was purchased from a Film Institute in my country (México), and I think it was NEVER USED.
What I am asking is some guidance to announce it and sell via ebay into the USA.
I'll be reading every day the forum, expecting some answers...

So you're in Mexico, wanting to sell this thing on eBay into the USA? I think you're better off asking such a question to eBay.
 
I'd assume you just list it on your local ebay site but offer international shipping so that all the other ebay sites will list it at the end of their local ads. You can still state what countries you won't ship to in your ad.

It will sell faster if you price it correctly, have a very clear and honest description of its condition and take some several clear pictures of it so that potential buyers have confidence in its stated condition. Telling buyers about how well and safely you'll package it will also help as many electronic items can be damaged in transit by poor packing and padding practices. Keep in mind that courier companies may drop and kick around the box while handling it, so pack it to survive a 6 foot drop and make sure it is insured properly in case of damage or loss while in transit. Neglecting any of those things will make buyers nervous and pass it up to wait for a more trust worthy listing.

Also, you said it looks like its never been used. But that's not the same as saying you've tested it and everything functions perfectly. Lots of things can look great and still be defective. So if all you can say is what you have here, that's not really saying much of anything. Any serious buyer will need to know that it actually works and especially so for an expensive item. If you sell it as untested, don't expect to get top dollar for it.

Hello The Ghost of FM , I really apreciate your advice, monday morning a tech from Nagra is coming to check everything is working properly. I just took nice and aaccurathe photos to describe the best I can the condition of the machine..
Anyway I'll keep in touch with you to tell you how it finishes.....
