Yeah! ;)
I said it looks like a big silver octopus.

I quit trying to follow any sort of scheduale about 3 or 4 months ago, but I'm hoping I can move in in about 6-8 weeks.

AC rough-in should be done today. I'll call for an inspection on monday, then its insulation, sheetrock, and paint-n-polish!

I was in a hurry when I posted these this morning, so a little more info:

It looks like a lot of ducts, and it is, but you have to remember, each room has its own oversized supply AND return.
In fact:

The CR has 2 individual supply and return lines.
The live room has 3 supply and 2 returns.
The Drum room has 2 supply and 1 return.
The vocal booth and kitchen each have 1 supply and 1 return.
The bathroom has 1 supply, and... ummm, no return. ;)

All of those go to a baffeled and insulated "distribution box" that's above the bathroom, and next to the mech. closet.

Due to the sheer number of ducts, and the fact that they're over sized, and the limited amount of clearence in the "web" of the truss, it was a real challenge for the contractor to route all the supply and return lines. He would have LOVED to have some fur-downs along the walls, but they're pulling it off!

It just keeps on getting better and better!! But now, realistically, do you really think you can get there in 6-8 weeks? It's take me that long just to paint a place that size (OK - I'm not much of a painter).

Good luck!!!

Darryl.....

I hope so.
It's going to be a push to do it, but I'm so tired of building. I want to play music again.
I may farm-out the sheetrocking, just to get it over with.
I dunno. I like doing that though, I can control the quality better.

If you need someone to help with the drywall/painting I have all my tools and am ready to travel. I mean it, ramset gun, screwgun, knives, poles, brushes...I am ready. Let me know.:)

I can cut down your time and increase the quality...for the price of a ticket....and maybe a little more.

Thanks Rod.
I'll post some more tonite. Those were after just one day of rough-in.
Today the "blowers" or "air handlers" are getting set along with a... really cool looking/cool functioning air filteration system.

I'll get some good detailed shots of that stuff. Then everyone can ask me all kinds of questions that I probably wont be able to answer - lol.

Jake.... I may jus take you up on that!
Maybe together we can get Nick to come out of hiding. ;)

Please do, I'm dead serious.
He's not hiding, just searching out the mysterious pussy.

Some serious AC work Michael. You are gonna be so proud of your place, I feel it already :)
Not sure if you already mentioned it but how many tons is the main unit?
