Applemasher;
Im wary to test my limits anymore though without instruction, cause one of my girl - friends who sings opera/ r&b got vocule nodules just for trying to improve her range everyday.
BRAVO !!!
GLYNB;
So although i didn't take a singing lesson last week, the point I'm making I guess is that as someone else said sometimes if you practice a song which seems just out of range, you may find you can hit it after a while. Choose a song that you think is out of your range and go for it, you may be surprised with practice what you can achieve.
YEA, like burning your voice out !
Once again, I'm surprised at just how many self appointed experts on singing there are.
People who have never had more then 10 lessons, are always full of advice and methods.
I'm going to start to give boxing advice, I have hit a punching bag a few times, I think this qualifies me to give advice, don't all of you ?
What's that, Boxing is totally different, Boxing lessons is physical exercise and training so you do not get hurt, Well guess what boys & girls, so is singing lessons.
SINGING IS UNLIKE ANYTHING ELSE IN MUSIC !
BUT, all of you can just keep up your assuming.
WTF do I care, none of you even want to consider the possibility that you do not know wtf YOU are talking about.
AND BTW, I love it when some ass wipe opens up a post and claims to have been singing all their life or had some choir in High School, like this is any kind of qualification.
I know lots of people who have SANG all of their lives and I know tons of people who took an instrument in high school band, it doesn't mean they do not SUCK !
Carry on fools !
Sean
PS.
I personally do not care if someone has taken a lesson or not, I find it odd that people who do not take lessons, dismiss them as being worthless, I'm usually a far better singer then those people.
