I currently have the ATH m20x from Audio Technica.
However when I record I get bleed from the headphones although they are supposedly closed back.
This could be because I have the volume too loud, although I prefer to be able to clearly hear my voice in my headphones with the beat.
Some Ideas I had where :
The Vic Firth SIH2- these are a reasonable price and seem to have good isolation, although they are meant for drummers.
Next I was thinking the Sony MDR-7506. Seem like the go to for vocal tracking.....
I also was interested in getting IEMS for vocal takes like the Shure SE215 , although Im not sure if IEMs would be ideal.
Overall would love some advice , I record in my bedroom and it isn't very sound treated. I am working to make upgradese on it such as getting heavy curtains, a rug and some accoustic pannels.
Thanks for any advice!
