The only ass around here is someone willing to pay $350 for an obsolete piece of technology that's no longer being manufactured or sold.

How will you get 8 tracks from the minidisks to the pc?

the whole point of this thread was for people to give me ideas about recorders that offer simultaneous recording of at least 4 tracks.

i'm NOT going to use my pc. period. understand?

i ASKED if there were any ideas about a cheap recorder that offered 4 tracks simul.

so i threw out some suggestions to get ideas from people. the tascam and the md8 were the two ideas i asked about.

plus, i never said i was going to buy the md8...
