One thing I do notice, myself included, is its real easy to get gear addicts who are high within the first 24hrs and post "this thing is the greatest I ever heard and played!! It was only $2.89!!"... 10stars!!
"Or that won't ever work!!"..and then find someone else used car speakers and made better mixes than I could on $1000 monitors.

Kid on the way.. Next thing I knew mine were playing instruments themselves! In a funny way, music turned out to be one of the best things my kids picked up from me, they've had hours and hours of fun and met friends thru playing, music, music in school, and choir etc.....it worked out damn good in a "free" way.
On the finance's theres so much stuff for free nowadays on the net,
hell if you get too broke, there's free guitar plugin's, free recording software, free effects, free cd burner software, dang...
all you need is...a pc and a soundcard .....er and a guitar...uh..and monitors..hmm headphones too...and.. some bass traps..and ...
