If you have a nice little ol´cozy studio, a "john sayer" designed SUPER studio, or just a little studio you´re ashamed of (c´mon, we´ll never know who you are!), post a pic here so we can drool our asses off.

here´s a starter:

Well maybe - but think of all the money you'd save in air conditioning!! ;)

Well, it's under construction right now but all the framing is in so you can get an idea of what it'll look like:

Here's my unfinished home studio.

I need to get back upstairs. Work, vacations, dead cars, shopping for buildings, and the honeydo list keeps me out of the studio loft unfortunately.

The infamous flip-floor vocal booth construction:

Frederic..

I'm never gonna record vocals at your place...

my fat self would bust through that trap door
and go tumbling down your staircase mid take :)

Lunatic,

Looking great there (I like that curved section, too; how'd you pull it off?).

Question: It looks like the soffits are going to back right up to the walls of your live room. Is there enough isolation there to ensure minimum bleed through the walls into the live room?

I'm no expert, just seeking knowledge.

Darryl.....

That's real nice Lunatic. Ya going to let me drive down there and check it out when its done?:D

Drooling...

I'm so jealous of you guys...Blue Bear, I'd like to live in your studio. So pretty, and hip styling.

Agree with DDev about Lunatic's curvy dynamic.

I will never have anything other than a bedroom or an office room if I'm lucky.

Thanks...!

I *do* pretty much live in it (I'm there all the time!) ;)

Nice glamour shots of the wife on the console. I used to be a makeup artist for a photography studio called Hollywood portraits, much like a glamour shots studio. That was until they promoted me to store manager and I had to deal with corporate buttwads in Texas. No, they weren't that bad, but with no assistant, I was too busy running the place to have fun putting on makeup and shooting pictures...and at 21 (ten years ago) I didn't even have time to spend my paychecks...but that's a whole other story. Needless to say I quit. (Little rant, sorry)
Just an observation on the photo.

:D

I'd take your studio in a heartbeat too. That couch is looking pretty comfy. I've actually thought of removing my bed from my bedroom and replacing it with a day bed or couch fold-out to maximize the space for recording. Sleep? Who needs it?

And, if you need any interns...just let me know. Info from another thread...;)
