All halogen in my studio, not a single bit of noise. Mind you, the lighting is on a completely separate circuit from all the audio.....!

Yo Bruce- lovely. Good to see you 've got a lava lamp- you meet the minimum standards.-Richie

Yes the lights are halogen - no troubles at all.

Kevin.

Fishmed,
How big is your studio control room? Also, how big is your drum room?
Thanks,
RF

I don't have a picture of my "studio", but please take a look at my audio engineer, "bubba"

Sorry for taking so long to respond. I thought I had already posted, but I guess my connection crapped out.

The Control Room is about 12'X16'
The Drum Booth is about 6'X8'

It is a small place, but I did not want to open the exterior walls.
I usually track the Drums and Bass with a scratch Guitar and Vox. Then I go back and use the booth for mic'ing the guitar cabinet, then the vocals. I do plan on getting an isolation cab so that I can track the guitar the first go-round. The nice thing about the room is that it has its own bathroom and exterior door.

well,it's going to take awhile for the funds to roll in to build my basement studio so I've set my temporary studio up in the front bedroom.I use my 2nd bedroom for guitar, vocals, overdubs, etc. and considering I've got cathedrals in my living room it works great for drum sessions.

Now that you mention it you want to buy the 1996 roadking?
My wife would love to see it go $14000.00/best. I love it but after $21000.00
and a few tickets I've had my fun...

No, I'm running a dual 1.25ghz G4 mac with Digi 001 and I'm also running a windows pc considering I've got alot of software running on that platform.I mainly track with the E16 1/2" reel to reel than transfer it to digital.
