Short Animation w/ music

Hi, guys

I made this one a yr ago, got some great feeback on the music, but I never posted back for the final thing, animation.

this is the first animation I ever made, it technically sucks a big one, but I hope the concept and music makes up for that...

Al,
I like the whole thing overall. The first part of the tune is real catchy. Sounds like everything is midi except guitars which more than make up for it. Good tones and (this is not a slam) you really seem to make the most of what appear to be two chords. Kind of Pink Floyd-ish.
In the second part, time seems to be off somehow, but in all an interesting composition.

yeah, it was a quick project, so, pretty much everyhting was done with midi like you've said. thanks for the patience to stream that video.



For those of you concerned about the file size, it's a lil less than 3meg, so, it shouldn't be too bad;)

it auto loaded shockwave first ....then after your file loads it says i need antother version of the player to play it....
 
ok so i went back cause i was caught up in the pics on the page and went ahead and loaded it up...



MAN THAT KICKS ASS.....seriously i was ab-so-lut-ely impressed ..did you do all of that ??? the animation AND the music the first song through was great ..good lord thats freakin awesome ....you must make websites and shit? right???..




if not you should.

wow, I'm very thankful for your words! Thank you!!

yeah, I did the so-called "animation" (even tho it's only zoom in/out, and fade in/outs...) If you want to see somehting that's 100 times better, do a search on Scott Transley(sp?) on this site. He made a 3D animation with his music playing, and it was just fantastic!!

and, yes, I make websites. Singking actually posted a thread in the Studio Construction forum about this site I am building for him. Have a look if you're interested:)

yeah man not a problem at all i checked out chemistry studios website nice and clean ..but cool looking at the same time.
the "apathy " piece you did is just sooooo far and away from anything i could do ..man that was cool. man maybe ill hire you too ...again that was awesome!.
 
Yeah.....nice mood-creating with the combination of the music and the imagery(sp?). I liked it a lot. I understand that you consider the animation to be your eariest stuff but a painting doesn't move at all and it's art. So it's the vision and execution that matters and this was well done.............nice music too.
 
...Man... the talent in this clinic continually blows my mind. Dude....... this is COOOOL!!!! Great theme here, and the all of the drawings are real cohesive to the overall project. .....Oh yeah...... the music is cool too:D

In one word: AWESOME!!!.

Did someone say 'Radiohead' yet? Felt a immediate need to sing (as Thom, of course)

Suits the animation very well.

Great job, A1A2!

The funk at the end spoiled the mood a bit, IMO.
