Shockmount for mk319 <!!WHICH ONE!!

I'm using a clamp one with my mk319 and trust me the mic will not fall through even if you yanked on the mic cable. You'll pull the mic stand over way before the shockmount lets go, it's very snug, no need to worry there.

I think someone was inferring a derogatory connotation to a single post. The cave is a section of the site where everything from political ideals to porn discussions are allowed.

Regarding shockmounts, you will find almost anything to be satisfactory. I find the clamp ones work very well, and on the spider side: I was at Dave Weckl's house and he was complaining about the spider mount for a Shure KSM44. It didn't hold up very well and wasn't too old. There are positives and negatives to both. I would say it really doesn't matter what you use as long as the elastic doesn't stretch too much.
