Yes, I seem to get a great deal of help around here. So I might do a check and see if I can do a different setup within my home studio.
My current rig works like this:
All mics etc plugs into a stagebox, all 16 channels goes directly into a mackie 1604VLZ-Pro. The 8 first channels (never record more than 8 channels at a time so...) goes through a multicable from the "direct out" into my 8 TRS line in on my MOTU 828MKII.
After that, I just mix within the computer. But what I would like is to mix on a mixer. Is this a better choice? Routing the tracks back to the mackie board and mix the tracks there?
Thanks, have a good day guys! //sweden
