...hmmm pretty smart. It was a long time ago since I do direct things. I totally forget if it still can work with my Zoom. :)
hmmm...
Thank's...

I feel a song coming all.

'All the young dudes... carry the news...all the young dudes... carry the new-hews' :p

Im only 17 and I've already recorded, mixed, and mastered demos/lo-fi albums for 7 bands around here. I just have them pay me for tape and a flat rate at the end of the sessions. They really appreciate that it's cheap and the quality is something that can rival something that they can hear on the internet by another band. Just ask around your area for local bands and friends trying to make a cheap demo that they can shop around with for gigs and indie labels. Just have fun with it and keep rockin the mix.

you defintaly don't "sound" 15, and honestly most of the stuff i hear people post up on the net boasting shit on board s is utter crap. But honestly this is really really good, and coming from me thats a compliment. Ive never complimented anything online like this. Seriously it sounds really great, yea, drums could use a little work, but its fruity loops, i use that program i can understand. Im only 18, ive been doing it on and off for a few years now, only really recording things here and there for fun and doing hip hop ish jazzy rocky stuff for about a year. VERY on and off, not enough time and no equipment. I have a computer, with a sound blaster live, a shure sm58, an art mp studio, and a bunch of softwear. im planning on dropping a lot of money on equipment and music instruments (and learnign to play them), fairly soon. But until then im just kinda working and doing little things every once and a while. But, really, sounds really good. I liked the actual song a lot too, not just the recording, great stuff.

btw, do you have your stuff mastered at a pro place? or is that just your work at home? Im curious how you get your kick drum to sound punchy and nice. And your drums sound kinda complicated for fruity loops now that i listen, like, the way they're done, doesn't sound like fruity loops, the way there are fast rolls etc... anyways.

no i record everything myself and mix it

I have to agree with the general consensus of this thread that you have done something pretty good with these three tracks.

I like most of what I hear. Kudos to you dude.

It takes me about three days to revert on anything to do with audio as I need to cart the files home and listen to them, as my work machine doesn't have sound and at home I'm on dialup, so.

Anyway Tukkis very nice stuff. I like the tone and mixing, very nice work, at least what I can tell on my limited monitoring setup. I'd like to know how you're making the MP3 out of your wavs, 'cause it's much better than a lot of other 128kbps stuff which I think has been screwed up by the encoder.

Good show.

I'm 15 too man it's cool to see people my age here
People are surprised to hear about how many kids are here... what I wanna know is how many girls post... especially 16 year old ones like me. Am I the only one?

P.S. - In case you've been noticing, my brother Eric also posts here under the same user name.

I can count on my hand the ammount that I know is female. theres riley 357, geekgirl, Ice fairy, and a few others I cannot name.

You should ask that question in the cave. If you come up with 12 we could post all of your pics on a Homereccers calender.:D

dude, that was uncalled for!!! women are more than just sex objects! what is it with men now days? my girlfriend came home crying last night because of comments made by a few guys in the class, and one made by the instructor himself! this is sssoo not right! imagine, next time, this person you are commenting about being your very own daughter. they are somebodies you know!?!?!

(i can just feel the wrath coming down on this one) :(

hi tukkis

are you still online and setting up that home studio?

I'm currently in the process of designing my studio. I'm going to build it in my garage.

It will also be a video studio as my dad wants somewhere to do his video editing.

I'm hoping it will be complete by the end of the year or early next year.

make sure you plan it out well. it will save you money and time in the long run. i just finished my studio about 2 months or so ago. it ended up takin alot longer than anticipated. the original plan was to have it done by jan 8, 2002. well, i ended up not starting on it til then. it is alot of work, but very rewarding in the end. here are some pics if you would like to take a look.

love the shells on the drum rug......wanted to second the Behringer V-Amp - I am very happy with what it is capable of plus the free PC editor you can dload from the behringer site

Nice songs, I think Loser is the best one. I am looking forward to do something with fruity loops, but haven't figured out how to build the drumtrack and import to cubase or vegas.
If you get some URL explaining it, I would be very thankful.
Regards, keep up the good work.
