Thats illness, how do you like that Eureka for your vocals? Im really thinkin about gettin it...

Thanks, there is alot of gear that I didnt show in those photos, I take more and post them tonight, I like the Eureka alot, some people dont like it but I think its because they are not very good at setting up a channel strip. Ill post a audio clip with the pics tonight.

Man! You must have a good job to get all that gear!

We all been there guys. Hell, if it wasn't for this accident, I'd be broke as hell right now. I'm just making long term plans on any settlement I'll get for that accident.

Gotdamn@that. I'm barely making ends meet lol. Hey Tone, my shure ksm27 went defective on me today so I took it back and got the Blue Bluebird as its replacement. I'll have to hold off on the Eureka because this set me back a little. I haven't gotten a chance to use the Bluebird yet because I gotta work all day.

I had to exchange my KSM27 once before, it started crackling bad... sounded like bad cables but it was the mic. What happened with yours?

Carter, 3 Monitors?...lol Man, that's a nice setup. I debated getting the eureka for a little while, how's it doing for you? What else is in your rack?

As soon as I turned the phantom power on i was hearing all kinds of static, white noise type stuff. And the room was quiet but it kept doing it.

Dual 31 band eq, 2 channel compressor gate (that I barely use) and my patchbay, I also have a few FX boxes that going into another rack case, and also I have one yamaha psr 540 keyboard and a Roland Juno 106 and a LTD B-50 6 string bass.

Personally I like the Eureka sounds good to me, I will post a clip later. The third monitor is used for my vocal booth with a web cam cause the wife would not let me put a window in.

Damn Carter....you got more buttons and knobs than I could push in a week, man.... :D

Nice setup....really nice.

How you getting along with my ride? :p

Thanks Dog, you know the Caddy rolling ever so smoothly. :D

Damn, me and the wife bring in about half that, but we do alright since cost of living is much less in Oklahoma than Cincy I would think. Once we both have our degrees and put past debts and shit behind us then we'll do better. Most of mine I either use school grant money to get new gear, stack up some paychecks, or find other means.

Now that I know what'll work with my setup and what's a waste of my time/money, I'm good to go. Everything I add from there should be good.

Hey Carter, what's your opinion of that Behri EQ sitting in your rack? I'm looking at an EQ, just so I can have hardware and software plugin options.

It's not bad just as long as you dont push it too hard.Thats the reason I picked mine up, so I could have a choice, I know there were better options out there but it's Ok for the money it is very useable.

OK, so here's mine :D

Now that's a spot to relax and vibe in when you get ideas. I'm debating of draping the walls with black tablecloth or some kind of fabric when I get a minute (and after I redo all of the furniture in here).

My studio room is a complete mess. There's all kinds of papers laying around in addition to wires, spare parts for PC maintenance, some laundry, etc. (this also winds up being the spare room for now too, but sooner or later that will change).

Also anybody found any good deals on L or U shaped desks for less than $200 (around $150 or lower preferably).
