no complaints from me that's for sure. To date I have been very happy with each product I bought from them and the speed with which they arrived was surprising too.

M.A. is apparently doing business under a few different names (and possibly having items drop-shipped) on ebay. I have bought a couple of things from them and everything was fine. Make 'em a low offer, maybe it'll save you some dough.

The last few years I have done virtually nothing with music and I've sold some of my gear but I have two beat up, old 421's and one ditto 441 and they'll stay no matter what.

Get an MD421 if you can. It's one of those mics that the average Joe can afford AND are good enough for Abbey Road. That should say something

Are you reading the responses? Just about everyone has mentioned that they are the go to mic for toms and some kick sounds.

And not shabby at all, if a little large, on the snare.

Also an excellent sax mic. It was a standard for many years before the RE-20.

I use one one my tenor sax all the time, both live and in the studio.

The 421 was also used in a LOT of radio stations before being replaced by the RE-20.

Try the MD441 on tenor next time.
