J/K Is this the band you were venting about in the techniques forum? What are they using for a drummer? a monkey????? Hehehe, I'm just kidding, the song isn't the greatest, but the recording/ (heavy editing???
) is awesome, just like the rest of your work I'm sure. Good Job. (make the most of what you got?
) No, but seriously, it sounds great man, good job.
some of the doubled geetars are a bit too loose for me, dunno if that was deliberate? Also parts of the vox seemed low aswell but I'm listening on hifi cans cos its a bit late for metal on me monitors
sounds good for the genre. needs to be happier though
Will the band like it? Do they like it now?
No dynamics in the song... (except the repetetive guitar at the opening). Guess this singer thinks he's Maynard Keenan, eh?
feel sorry for ya if this is what you gotta deal with everyday

Apart from being boring and having an inconsistent tempo, I don't think it was half as bad as most of you made it out to be. I understand the stuff about the kick because it's really up front in the mix, but I listen to a lot more chaotic, double bass oriented stuff, so I guess I'm used to the "rabbits on crack" thing.
As for the mix, which is the issue at hand, I think it sounds really good. The guitars sound very good and thick. I think the snare gets a little lost, but other than that, it's far better than anything within in my range of "skills."
