Alright so this may be the newbiest question to date, but I have used up all my USB ports on my MBP. I dont even have a mouse. Obviously I need a USB Hub if I want a mouse and probably another USB device. Are there any high performance hubs out there you guys would recommend?

I'm honestly not being a smartass, but unless you 100% need Mac OSX, then sell your MBP and get a better PC, and still have some cash to spare.

Honestly...

Edit: Sorry, wasn't totally clear.

With a PC, you'll probably get more USB ports, and if you don't have enough - it's expandable!

AFAIK macs are the only computers designed to run both OSX and windows out of the box. Yes you can put OSX on a PC, but thats a backdoor way of going about it. I'd rather use bootcamp. Thanks anyway though. Still looking for hub suggestions.

looking for a good one not a cheap one. if they happen to come together that would be nice but im willing to pay for quality.

I have a Belkin hub that was I think $10 or 20. I also have a Belkin PCI card in my Mac desktop that gives me 5 extra USB ports (oddly, one is inside the computer on the card  ).

Belkin has always struck me as good company. Last years I bought 2 defective Firewire cables in a row off of eBay and finally bought a Belkin that worked. The Belkin monitor extension cables are real good.

I wouldn't buy a no name crapper USB hub because then every time something fucked up I'd wonder if it was because of that.

Awhile ago I went to BestBuy and the chick comes up to me and I tell her I need a USB cable and she asks "for what kind of computer?". :(

I should have told her my computer was beige, and she would have probably said "Oh, we have those!". :)
