Here's my dilemma. I'm trying to figure out how to get my dad's keyboard to go to my Mac. It is a Roland Fantom S.
The back of it has a USB, but it does not look like a USB. I've seen that kind of connection before, I just don't know where. The back of my Firestudio has a MIDI - S/PDIF. I guess my question is, what do I need to do or get to connect my Roland Fantom-S straight to my mac or through my Firestudio to my mac. And if both are possible, which is better for me to do? Thanks.
EDIT: Of course the Fantom also has MIDI's. and my Firestudio has 1394's.
