hello
I'm a newbie in analog world so sorry if my questions seems stupid
I come from digital world and plugs etc...
I decided to try some tape machines.
I tried A77(7,5 ips) and a b77(15ips) with new tape.
I sent an entire mix before pre mastering in it and I noticed that all the frequency responses are different.
Most of all there is a lot of high frequencies.
I wonder how to pre master a track with an analog tape because it was like my eqs on mix were too much. do I have to re-eq after analog tape like remove some High frequencies ?
also, should I send tracks by tracks or stems to revox ?(to have that tape compression)
Sorry for my english.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
kikidi
