I'm going to record some youngsters (10-12) using either a pair of 603s or B1s. I've pretty much figured out all my problems until I started thinking about potential delay issues.
Here is the setup:
XY 603s (B1s) - > soundcraft fx16 -> Delta1010 -> CoolEdit Pro.
The soundtrack is gonna' be imported into CEP and then played back while I record the kids. Two yamaha monitors, out of phase, facing the kids about 15 feet away. The more I thought about this I started thinking there could be a ever-so-slight delay between the recorded soundtrack and the vocals.
What do you guys think? If it's a problem can I just add a slight delay to the original soundtrack afterwards to compensate or is this something I should try and fix beforehand. Do you think it will even be a problem?
Thanks
Dennis
