OK, at band camp this year a new band was invented. It's called lilac, pronounced (lee lock), because this band is Scandinavian, and that's how people talk over there. Lilac (the plant) is deadly poisonous in the little known Scandinavia island that the band is from, which is why it's the perfect name for an 80's metal band. The song is called NIGHT FROG. Night Frog is sort of like Scandinavia's Chupacabra.

Except it's a frog.

That wakes at night.

Which is why it's the perfect world premiere debut song.

I don't have access to myspace from here but I believe this is the right link.

www.myspace.com/lilacmusic

If that doesn't work couldn't someone please go to www.myspace.com/danieljamessmall and click on Lilac in my friends section. Just let me know what the link is so I can post it. Thanks.

Opinions welcomed. I will share them with the band.

Corrected Link

Sorry I had the wrong band up. I have no idea who that guy is.

Here is the correct link:

Does anybody know why I can't edit my first post to correct the link? I don't want people thinking that music is mine.

I think I just edited it...

I enjoyed the tune, but I can't really say it's 80's metal. It's closer to 80's pop.

My only nits were the drum panning. It's a personal taste thing with me, but I prefer the snare panned up the center.

That's all I have.

Actually the snare is centered, I think maybe the overhead that's panned left picked up a lot of the snare and moved it.

80's pop metal?

I was talking about the original post as far as editing goes. For whatever reason I guess you can;t edit a post after like 2 days. I've never seen that on a forum before. Weird.

Yeah, we have been fighting that one with Dragon, to no avail. It's his forum, he does as he sees fit. On second listen, I think you are right about the left OH...

That's a pretty useless limit to put on posting. What good does it do?

Anyways, thanks for listening to our stupidity. If you get a chance take a look at the video we posted too. It's funny as hell.
