i just traded my friend an ibanez bass for a fender strat it looks like.

but when i look on the head, it has fender in big letters, and then on thetipof the head it says squier series? ive never seen anything like it. so does this mean i have a shitty guitar? if so what can i switch out to make it good? thanks!

it feels really nice, and i think it sounds nice, im putting it through a peavey bandit 112. any tone suggestions to make it sound nice n warm to make a strat sound good? im new to strats, so any suggestions will help. also any accessories that would make it sound awesome( or look awesome)? thanks

Squier is Fender's low line entry level guitars, although some are good. It is hard to find a good one, but some are nice, but if yours sounds and feels nice, then great.

arggggggg......squire=starter guitar, some are good as said above, but that is rare...i say if it sounds good, keep it, consider your self sly to get somthing you want out of somthing you (do not?) want.

My friend had a Squire that had Fender large on the headstock with Squire really small. It said made in japan and was a heavy Strat. It played nice too. I never seen another one like it.

yea, it plays really nice. but it says it was made in like korea or something. i actually like it a lot, and i trick all my friends into thinking its a fender, ha suckers.

I had one and wish I still had it.. Played like a dream... Dang I wish I still had it.
