Recorded all tracks using Tascam digital, transferred to Radar and trying to mix - some stuff is getting lost or shoved down in the mix, others (particularly bass) are booming, overall product sounds murky, esp. mid range. Can this be fixed, and if so, if I take it somewhere else to mix, do I need original tracks from Tascam or can I use DVD from Radar?

How were the tracks brought into Radar? If it was a digital transfer maybe you're just hearing them in a different environment/monitors?

I haven't looked at a DVD from Radar in one of my computers, but I'm guessing that it's a proprietary format. I would go with the original Tascam tracks if going elsewhere.

Actually the above depends on the version of software. See:

radar software update

It is possible, though I think that I would still go with the original if you feel that the audio has been altered.
