Hi guys i'm dusan1, new to this forum.
I just started home recording and i had a minimal watching experience 'cause i have recorded a promo cd with my band in a recording studio.
I bought an M-AUDIO FireWire 1814 and I installed PRO-TOOLS M-POWERED 7.4cs2 on my Windows Vista system. I downloaded the driver for the 1814 hardware from their site and its version is 5. I have a 32bit system.
I linked my double mono cable from a yamaha mo6 output to the 3/4 input of the M-AUDIO hardware and i SEE the signal on the audio hw, i SEE the signal on pro tools, it RECORDS, but i can't figure out why on my earphones, linked to the computer output i CAN'T hear any sound, and if i link the earphones to the audio hw i can't hear anything either.

Surely it's a newbie question, sorry for the ignorance, please give me a help.
Thank you guys.

Can you hear audio outside of protools? If so you need to look at your I/O settings in Pro Tools preferences tab. If you can't hear anything at all from the computer, try looking into the settings of the software that came with the m-audio device. I use an M-audio device and I had to tell it which speaker outs I was using.
