Hi, everyone.
I work in a studio where we are using Logic Pro 7. We have a M-Audio Pro-88 Keystation MIDI controller connected to our Mac G4 via USB. We recently acquired an Alesis DM5 module and kit which we connected to a MIDI port of the sound card (RME Hammerfall DSP Digiface). We would like to be able to record MIDI drums parts using DM5 and at the same time a second instrument using Pro-88 (a keyboard player and a drummer jamming). We tried different setups and we were able to achieve that goal but a major problem remains: the Pro-88 is not only triggering the second instrument but also the drums module and we're getting notes from the keyboard part (Pro-88 MIDI controller) inside the drums parts.
Does anyone know why this is happening and how to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
