I am on the last generation of the white imac (the one with the built in camera) running the newest version of leopard.
I bought a firestudio project around last december, and it has been great for recording, although there is one major issue that I have not been able to fix.
When I use the firestudio project's playback, the audio is very crackly and it sounds terrible. When I set the computer's sound card output to the firestudio project and I get the same problem.
The clicking sometimes goes away for a few minuets, but always comes back.
The things that are recorded through the firestudio sound fine when played through a different output, such as the built in output on the imac.
I just tried installing the newest drivers for the firestudio project off of the presonus website and it did nothing.
What can I do to fix this problem?
