The Phoenix DRS stuff is incredible. The new ADL600 is a big open pre that kills. I don't think you need to blow $4,000 on a preamp but to each their own.

the electronaut is 1800, the portico is about 1400, and the fearn is 3 something.

but so far...the electronaut just blows my mind...damn tasty.
