Potentiometer value question for guitar

Hi,

I want to put in some P90s, and I'm looking for jangle and chime. Which is better: 250 or 500K for this?

The guitar is a 12 string Dean Boca. It was very cheap, plays great, but came with humbuckers - high output ones at that.

I would go with 500k if you're after the jangle. A 250k pot might end up a little dull in comparison, but it's really a matter of personal taste.

Hey, long time no see. +1 on the 500K for brightness, especially if you're using the humbucker-sized ones with the metal covers. What kind of P90's are you putting in?
