Breedlove Weisenbourn:

It's beautiful but I can't figure out what it is. It looks like a cross between a parlour guitar and a backpacker. Have you played one of these or ever heard one played? What's the sound like?

I know, I'm not a good player so I'm not into beautiful guitars but this one, mmmmm. Burns Steer ala Billy Bragg I love the nose pickr on the headstock too.

That headstock looks like an earwig.

It's made to be played on your lap with a slide. They sound lovely but they are kind of delicate instruments. Good for Hawaiian music and other blues/folk/roots style music.

Here's my current object of lust. Local shop has one used with a pickup installed for a decent price. May have to take it home on a date this weekend and see if we want to live together.:D

I'll bet a shiny silver dollar that you'll be shacking up after just one long date...

eyema--

(eyemone too, BTW) that's one beautiful piece of wood. A tele is the last major "style" guitar I don't have--and I wan't to build a guitar. So I'm thinking I might be building a Tele style soon too. I'll check out your link.

Thanks!

Here it go! Well, one of 'em anyhow!

Looking for a round neck (spanish neck) so I can play without slide as well.
