panning before I record

Hey now: I'm left in one ear, so it's very important that I SEE the right and left channels when I record and pan if not centred BEFORE i start uploading if possible like an old version of wavelab. Got the wavelab 5 demo but won't let me record, errr. Something that I could try out then buy would be nice. any suggestions. Do u need a special dvd player to play dvda. Never burned one, or played one.....

Anyone goin to MMW NYE yes i'll have hte entire '04 run with me...

Wavelab 5 has the same recording interface as all the old versions do. You can see the levels and look at the phase scope at the same time.
