Pair of MD-421 with sequential serials

Just bought a pair of these. I hope they are as great as everyone says.:D Seller claims they are a matched pair based on them having sequential serial numbers. I don't know if that makes them a "Matched Pair" or not. But is cool nonetheless.
 
Im sure you will enjoy them. Which type did you buy? There are a few different versions out there, i think.
 
Very cool. I received a pair of used U-4's yesterday myself. Haven't done much with them yet apart from testing how my voice sounds through them. It really sounds good for voice-over work like everybody claims.

The ones I got are coming from your neck of the woods. Did you get them off ebay?
 
They were offered in an online ad, not Ebay. They come from a youth theater that was selling 4 of them. Non-sequential serials by the way.

No, it doesn't mean that the mics have been matched... but, sometimes it could mean they could be closer.

I didn't think so. I would imagine it can't hurt though.
 
It might be that the mics were manufactured on the same day.:D
