okay, now I checked the Microphone Primer page for an answer with this, and I can't find one I like...
There are a few techniques I have read about concerning cymbal overheads (we're doing a small 3 piece band session for some original tunes I've written this friday...) and I can't determine which is the "best" pattern to use!
I have 2 ECM-8000's for overheads, and an axman 3 mic mount (because I don't know what to get to mount my overheads...).
Now when I do this, do I angle them left and right SEPARATELY, FACING EACH OTHER, or what? Do I pan the channels extreme left and right?
Oh... So many questions, I am sorry. New guy...
Is there something I should buy to mount my mics on rather than the axman 3 mic mount?
oh hell.
