So is there some kind of program that will turn......say...an ntrack file into a vegas 4 file? hahaahah

The reason I ask - I have some stuff I did a long time ago, on ntrack, and I much rather mix it now on Vegas - the program I use now all the time. Do I have an option? haha.

I don't have Vegas 4 but why not just export the tracks from ntrack in like a wav file and import them to Vegas? Vegas is suppose to handle video, image and audio files of multiple formats, sample rates and compression schemes.

ha...what a great idea.

but, it IS kindof a pain.

oh well i'll live

good shot pimp.
ha
peace

The only way is to export into a format that the other program will import. wav, bwv and omf are the most common formats. OMF is good if you can do it because it will even send mixing and edit info. BWV is next best because it is the same as WAV but with time code on the track.

When you export make sure you click the option to FILL SILENCE so that each track is continuous from beginning to end. It will take up more space but it eliminates any sync hassles.
