on a scale of one to two, let me know what you think

its not bad to say someone sounds like someone. i'm sorry i like clean guitar parts, i'm a guitar performance/recording major.

RUFUS still pops in my head right when i hear the voice come in.

sounds real good the way it is. it almost seems that it says all that really needs to be said, and to try and make it longer might hurt it a little. just another man's opinion. 2 as is...

Yeah, the tuning has a lot going for it. How's the EP?

EP is slower going than I had hoped, but maybe this little holiday break will give me some time to finish it up.

It sounds to me like the performer has had a stroke or something.

I haven't had a stroke... yet... hmm. Do you mean because of the articulation?

I liked that funky sound on the guitar, and your vocal was pure Dylan. I gotta say, the lyrics seems a bit rough, but when you hear it actually played, it's nice.

I gave it a listen. I'd say that you used your voice very well, except for when you sounded like you were struggling to get those really low notes... :o But hey, that's cool, too; gives it a bit of an unconventional twist. It'd be mind-boggling to have like a crashing heavymetalpowersolo/bridge towards the end, though I think that the length my be just right. Over all, I give it a

Y-intercept=1.895866646

or, if you were talking plane geometry:
tan(62.19)

I prefer it in sinusoidal

No idea what that is...sounds like you might need to go see the ear, nose, and throat doctor

Nice song, flows easily and smoothly and has an indie feeling to it, as suggested already. Still, I really really think it needs a nice bridge somewhere. I really care for "anchors" in songs, something to be waiting for while you're listening to "the rest" of it. ;)
