ok...i feel kinda silly ( a triple rec and GC short story)

when i bought my triple rectifier from guitar center i had to take the first one back - bad wiring...kept blowing the fuse..so i got a new different one...in the last 3 weeks ive blown 2 fuses like a dummy i didnt read the part of the manual for my triple rectifier regarding the type of fuse .when i got the first head the guy at GC gave me 3 xtra fuses...they were 3a not 4a as stated in the manual...yeah i didnt read the instructions but you would think the people at GC would know the correct one to use....
as you know the triple rec puts out alot of heat... would it help performance to put a small fan pointed to the back of the head?
 
Erm, I'll respond in an ordered list to make things easier to read:

1. The people at Guitar Center, 95% of the time, are salesmen, not musicians. Thus, do not ask them for any help regarding musical equipment. Trust me :)

2. Now that you're (hopefully) using the correct fuses, are you still blowing them? Is it possible, or even likely, that the original amp had the wrong fuse in it as well?

3. Tube amps are made to work well when heated up. That said, it does stress the tubes and electronics a little bit more to play it in a super-hot (read: over 100 degrees) club with lights pointed at it and such, but I toured with one and played in places I should've never been able to play it, and never once blew a fuse or had to fix it in any way. Even when the super-crappy "Power Conditioner" I had it plugged into shorted itself out and quite literally exploded in a shower of sparks. Damn thing worked like a charm for months afterwards.

i havent had a problem yet with the fuses blowing...

i think the whole problem with the other fuses the jerk at gc gave me is they were 3a not 4a thus not being able to handle the load

is it the primary fuse/ht supply /speaker protect fuse?? if you're blowing them alot then sumptin's wrong...
