pretty sure it's the tascam porta 07. or a relative from this series.

the pedal might be the Boss Tera echo. or the boss digital delay.

Well, thanks to address me to Tascam hardwares.

It looks more like a Tascam Porta Two HS (seeing knob and labels).
About pedal, not sure thats two models (the box looks different).

Not even sure what's the flow of sound: it seems channel 2-4 processed by distortion, but not the tape itself (it seems stopped).

That's not a Porta 07. It's a Porta Two.

How does it triggers those sound in your opinions? They are not from the tape...
External sources?

Looks very much to me like a Boss DD-3 or DD-2 with the battery cover (pedal) removed and most of the wording either worn off or covered (or maybe it's just not visible from this angle).

From the video it's impossible to tell where the signal's coming from, but it seems as though he's got a feedback loop set up between the pedal and the 4-track.

To be perfectly honest, I don't find it compelling enough to investigate much further than that.
