Hi, I use a Tascam MS-16 1” tape machine in my home private studio.

Can you please help me identify the values of 2 capacitors?

The tiny blue one says 470. The yellow tantalum says 1 over 25v. What values are these? Thanks for your help, friends.

The tant is likely 1uF/25V. What PCB assembly is it mounted to and what’s the part designator? “C” what? You can always look at the PCB assembly, locate the part identifier and then look at the schematic to cross-reference the values.

The ceramic cap I don’t know for sure but probably 470pF. But that looks like it’s mounted to proto board. Whatcha got going on in that MS-16?

Thank you, Cory! The caps don’t belong to the MS-16. I mentioned the Tascam because I’m a huge analog fan and I knew someone would help me out. The board is for an experimental medical device that uses radio waves to agitate viruses bacteria and cancer cells to death. It’s called a rife machine. The design belongs to me, but a coworker stole the schematic thinking he’s going to get rich. Nobody gets rich from Rife machines.

The technology works the same way a voice can break a champagne glass. The device produces frequencies the hit the resonating frequency of these tiny pathogenic cells/viruses, and shakes them until they die. I used it to save my life and now I help others with it.
