Okay.I read your post that no one reads the thread..the thread is about you NOT liking your voice....Is THAT correct?...The post is asking anyone else IF they FEEL THE SAME AS YOU SOMETIMES....Is That correct?..Then you say you don't sing...you rap...IS THAT correct? Now If you have answered yes to 3 outa three...then my question to you is what are you griping about ?..We answered your QUESTIONS....WHETHER you RAP,sing OPERA, ROCK JAZZ, BLUES,SCREAM your GUTS out..or TELL A STORY IN REG TALKING...the VOICE IS THE VOICE...EITHER YOU LIKE IT OR YOU DON'T...Your intentions were tooooooo???? :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

First off............ i dont care if you like rap, alot of OLD PEOPLE dont.... The argument was over saying rap has no talent.... and making beats?! lmfao that takes a hell of alot of talent as well... not all beats are made off of samples.... plus i box at the RSA all the time... so im pretty sure i would hit you in the mouth.... and anyways i can take honest criticism... i wouldnt have made it this far without it, everybody starts at some point and i used to SUCKKKK real bad..... like horrible but thats all done and over with i got people that look up to me now plus fans and i aint even put out a mixtape yet... that takes fucking skilll?! who here has fans besides there fucking family who goes tuh the park and performs in front of about 40 people all the time?! I've played with some of the software that people use to make beats and joints and whatever the hell. There is no skill involved. Sure, you have to have some basic knowledge of the software but that can be learned in an afternoon by reading the manual.

as for this, i can make ROCK beats on a BEAT MAKER!? whats your point? PLUSSS i dont hear 95% of rap sounding the same? im sorry i cant tell the fucking difference from ANY ROCK BANDS NOW ADAYS they ALLLLLL SOUND THE SAME!! ALLL OF THEM and dont say so do rappers? gimme some examples and ill give you some? i turn on the rock station? and im like whos this... wait till all the noise is done BOOMING and im like o its this song... with rap i can tell right away from the beat.... heh now we got alot more arguing to do its your turn Grandpa

Gimme a fuckin break. What a joke. I'll send you pictures from the July2 show I'll be playing at the Susquehanna Valley Big Twins biker rally to a crowd of 2500+. I perform in front of 200-300+ every weekend. Have been for the last 20 years. Piss off junior.

okay let me REPHRASE THAT.... get in front of that many people and make music from the top of your head... o ya and make it good 2.... so you dont get embarrassed
 
It's called improvising. Any decent musician can do it just fine, and many people here do it in front of plenty of people.
 
Personally i do love my voice, it's the delivery that's questionable

if you're not liking your voice and people tell you it sound nice chances they're being nice.
my policy is if i'm using my facial muscles inward ----RETAKE
since i'm not a singer this happens a lot, but i do manage to get something decent
 
OK, all musical genres have their share of crap. The majority of mainstream music is crap, because record companies see something selling, so they make heaps of it. They don't need to experiment because the recycled garbage is selling! That does not mean a whole genre is crap though. I don't particularly like rap music, I like punk music. You could have exactly the same pointless arguement:

1. All punk music is just talentless garbage.
2. Anyone who can string 3 chords together can write good punk music
3. Punk drumming is just boom chick boom chick played fast

But it's simply not true of the genre. There are cases where it is, but it's definately not the rule. I've got friends who are into hiphop and I will gladly record them and have offered to. To say that an entire genre of music (any genre) is crap is pretty ignorant.

The subject of this thread got lost somewhere, what does all the debate over musical preferense have to do with whether or not a person likes their own vioce? Is it me or did everyone else loose it? Any way I don't much like the sound of my own voice so I'll just stay in my corner and play my guitar while the rest of you debate all the other bs.

It's because of those overly sensitive rappers. I made a joke when dude got all huffy tellin people they're not reading his thread properly. I think it's funny. You can tell me rock musicians suck all day and I don't really feel the need to defend myself.
