Hi,
I've had a Behringer EuroRack 1602A mixer for years now, and some time ago I've noticed that there was a continuous noise coming out from the main mix. I've determined that the noise (a continuous hiss plus frequent, intermittent crackling) comes from a single channel, namely channel #3 (a mono channel with the choice of cannon or jack input).
The noise is not very loud when the volume is low, but it's very loud on higher volumes.
Of course I've done this test with everything disconnected, the noise comes from the channel itself.
Since there is no way to exclude the faulty channel from the main mix, I am now using the control room/headphones out (this way I can select which channels to enable).
Excuse the lame question, but is there anything I can try to fix the issue or will I have to have the mixer repaired?
