Solid and menacing dance groove. How do you make that low end synth staccato sound that keeps sneaking in? Like the high end breakdown synth that pops up about 3/4 the way through... ny only question is how do you write this stuff w/o being tripped out pf your mind ? :D

Cheers,
Dick Moobie

thanks man....not 100% sure which synth but theres as low end beep that comes in and out which was made from my faithful EA1 through a montrons LFO...i did a complete track of drums then bounced them and the initial beep down to one track, put them through an autopanner and filter, then put a new set of drums on top of them...so it kinda comes in and out, also it sounds like its going up and down over the 8 bars..might be that lol :)

this stuffs easy.....work on the busiest part then just spread it out and start muting stuff...loads of drugs 20 years ago help :)

I wrote a song about 20 years ago called "Night Train to Kcearl", but it was really a homoerotic off-broadway song about a Scot with the HIV who played trashcan lids. Prob a coincidence,

ah i just got what part you meant...the bass that comes in at 0.14 right at the beginning?

i wish dropbox had a time line....if it was that one it i just recorded two bass notes in ableton for a few bars then used the not so secret ingredient, sugarbytes effectrix on it, bounced it, then sliced it and put a few slices together...you can do this with vocal parts too and make little background rhythms..great plugin

im waffling lol, wife working late so time for more netflix Dr Who :)

No it starts a little over halfway through then keeps up 'til the end... my quicktime did not show the time either.

Daleks... :spank:

That is no kidding. Those dudes stood toe to toe and hacked each other apart with heavy iron and steel instruments... wow.

Not really a style I'm all that familiar with, but cool vibe and great production. That kick drum is very solid, I like it.

Love the synth that comes in around 3:05.

thanks man..the synth is kinda standard fare but it does sound nice, i think the ones dripping in verb in the background make it sound better

yeah thats a good kick sound but I think i have better...i have some airbase samples and you can feel them in your sphincter...Im just scared of the mess if one of the oldies accidentally listens :D

thanks for listening FD, I just moved from Toronto in January...nice city, spent nearly three years there :)

How did this one slip by me?...
