New studio - Small budget - existing structure

Update: While I am not going the route that was recommended, I have made some progress.

The plan that I'm going with now, is plain old R-13 insulation with one layer of 5/8 drywall and one layer of 1/2 drywall.

My buddy and I put up the wall on Saturday.

More updates.

All of the drywall is up and I have pictures.

This one is with half of the drywall up. I used regular home insulation in the walls and it is showing in some of the pictures.

The wall texture has already been applied, but I have no pictures yet. I'll be sealing the drywall with drywall primer and giving it a coat or two of paint later in the week. I'll post more photos then.
