I just peeped. Not feeling it.

Hi hat is too repetitive, and the bass sample is a bit boring. Overall, I think it lacks direction... when I listen to it, I get no motivation or direction to write, feel me? Just sounds like a loop.

You've made much better tracks.
 
yea i know wut you mean it's just somethin i put together in about 10-15 min. the samples for this months battle are weak
 
What up man. I know how it is with those battles.It needs something else to bring it out and give it some life. Someone rhyming over it will make it not seem repetitive so don't worry bout that.You don't want to add stuff that will mess it up.Just liven it up some.
 
Honestly, fam. This is a situation where mixing techniques can make your track stand out, and seem to be more than it is.

Doubling tracks, adding delays, widening the sound. Using your pans and volume envelopes to create imaging and sound periphrials...

There's a lot you could do to this, to make it come alive.

this is nice, It has that De La Soul feel to it.
 
sounds too plain, but I know how it can get sometimes working with samples
