Neumann's Live Vocal Mic KMS 105

Any real uses for this mic in the studio?
Would it be better than the bottom feeder Chinese large diaphram mics (I know it's not LD) or is it simply a stage mic?

Just wondering if the Neumann quality would shine through or would I just be buying a badge
