Need to borrow a guitar for Brooklyn show January 25th

Hey all,

I need to find someone who will loan me a good acoustic/electric guitar for my show in Brooklyn on January 25th. I'm leaving the country for two weeks in January, getting back January 24th, and staying in New York for the show. I thought I was being clever when I booked it since I was saving myself an extra airfare to NYC for the show, but I forgot that I would need a guitar and didn't leave myself enough time to stash my own with a friend before my flight abroad.

I need someone to come down to the show early with a guitar so I have time to sound check and warm up, and then hang out for the show (at the Brooklyn Lyceum at 8pm). In exchange I could buy you dinner and of course get you into the show. Free CD, T-shirt, whatever you want. If necessary I could pay a little.

If you think you can help me with this, please let me know. Tell me what kind of guitar you have, etc.

That's clever, but if I asked you in earnest for permission to fuck your girlfriend I bet your reaction would be vastly different...

So, anyone want to let me borrow their guitar?

Matters which guitar you ask to play :)
 
Not much help forthcoming I see. It's a little unethical, but you could go with the GC/Sam Ash rental plan. Anybody in the NYC area gonna help this guy out?
 
Leavings- your best bet is to try and rent one.... seems like no one is helping in NY.
