Omni, the way I see it is you can combine multiple vocal tracks until you like it, have someone else sing it, or sing it and accept that's how you sing and sound. Personally I'd accept this is how you sing and mult tracks to remove any problem areas.
Maybe you can get creative any make the vocal a guitar solo instead? I mean you should not stress this much over a vocal music is supposed to be fun.
