Need help with midi and hs 2002 calkwalk software I can't get the 2 work

Hi, I am having problems with my set up mainly with midi hook up and calkwalk home studio 2002. I install hs 2002 on my dell computer i have a midiman usb port 1x1 in/out midi w/software which I install w/updated drivers which work ok. My ck hs 2002 is not responding no sound output or input I have sound coming out of the computer into my multitrack recorder for the computer for my other programs. my midi setup is like this:

midi port input to output keyboard

midi port output to input drum machine

drum machine output to sampler input

sampler output to keyboard input.

I am trying to everything to work together please help Thank You Raywon

You don't mention any audio cables in your list. What's making sound and how do you have it wired up?

You also mention nothing about which MIDI channels you are using, which devices are set to respond to what channel, etc.

Also, just because a MIDI data stream is coming into a device, it doesn't mean that same data is coming out of the device.

I am using 72" LPP cables for the drum machine and sampler and 6" cable from sound card to multitrack recorder rca cord from multitrack to receiver. I am using midi channel 1 . Set up is as follows:

1/4" connector from(1) multitrack track 1 to sound card
1/4" connectorfrom multitrack track 2 to(2) mx 602a mixer main out
(3)drum machine and (4) sampler 1/4" drum machine line 3 on mixer sampler line 5/6 mixer.

1. Tascam porta o2mkII
2. behringer euro rack mx 602a mixer
3. Alesis sr-16 drum machine
4. korg es-1 sampler
