In the mean time you'll probably make less money than working at Wallmart. I don't know jack crap about the music industry and I'm sure Hard2Hears comments are dead on. But I don't think anyone here with their right mind would try to convince you NOT to go to college and get a degree.
Talk to your counselers at school. Talk to the local tech schools or colleges, is a grant or scholarship out of the question?
Just so you know, I called up 2 local studios here in Dallas and asked if the guys running the boards were college grads. They said their diplomas are hanging in the office if I wanted to come by and take a look.
Did you see the road Tukkis is taking? Wouldn't this be something you could/should do as well?
