n-track midi to wav burp

when converting a midi to a wav the resulting wav is fine except for blurpy distortion in the first beat of the recording. Any ideas? i'm just using the stock soundcard that came with my dell that works fine with n-track otherwise.

Not sure what the problem would be, but a work-around may be to edit the MIDI file and place a few dummy beats at the beginning. Then after converting it to a wave, you could edit those first few dummy beats out of the wave file.
Audacity is a free wave editor that could be used.
