I was in the mood to do an approximate cover of For the Love of God by "you know who"....

Not note for note but my loose interpretation...

Sjones -FTLOG JAM EXTENDED

Hope ya dig...

Peace,

Scott

Great playing. Like you said, a very loose interpretation, but great none the less.

Just curious. Did you do the backing track or did you find that somewhere?

Nice job man. I really like this tune, and you sound great on it.
Cool.

Very nice playing, not too much repeating licks, good tone.

Sounds good!

Hey SJones - really excellent playing on this tune. Love the tone and sustain you got. Are you using the same Ibanez type guitar? I hear a wah, any other special effects you care to share about this? Again, really enjoyed this one!

Thanks bro!!

No, that's my old HM Strat (I recently turned my Ibanez FGM into a hybrid fretless/fretted instrument, and my new Ibanez Prestige has no trem bar).

The Strat through an old POD, with, of course a wah.

I really like what you've done with this. Too often you see guys playing Vai or Malmsteen songs just to prove that they can, but it feels like you've really added your own touch to this. Even in the parts that are totally your own you've mostly kept the same feel to it, which is also nice. Great playing.

excellent vibrato!!....and kickass tone....well done sir!!
